Half Price Bricks

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens after I donate the Legos? We sort and remove non-Legos, clean them, sort them into types, and begin to identify possible sets. Do you clean and sanitize the Legos? We use a dish detergent solution and thoroughly scrub, rinse with warm - hot water, then let them air dry for the next few days. What if I have a mix of Legos and off-brand bricks? Not to worry! We will sort all bricks and remove the non Legos. If I have missing pieces, can I still donate? Of course! We will accept all donations, and when we assemble sets we try to substitute any missing pieces. How do you determine your price? We find the official original selling price of the sets, and divide that by 2. Who do you sell them to? Currently we sell them to anyone who would like to purchase, but our future goal is to target kids in need. I don’t live in the area. Do you mail the sets? Not at this time. Do you include instruction manuals for building? We include a QR code and a link to the original instructions from Lego.com in every set I can’t get the QR code to give me the instruction manual. What should I do? You can go directly to https://www.lego.com/en-us/service/buildinginstructions/ and enter the set name or set number. You can also email us at Donate@HalfPriceBricks.com and we can assist with locating the directions.
