Why donate? Legos are built to last and meant for play. However, as children grow up, the Legos often just end up sitting in storage bins, collecting dust and taking up space. Give those pre-loved Legos a second chance to inspire and delight a child by donating to Half Price Bricks. Donating will increase access to children who may not be able to afford new sets sold in stores. It will also free up space in your house for other things. This promotes a mindset in our communities to share, reduce, and reuse. Sure, you can donate to other nonprofit organizations or stores that resell Legos, but they typically resell the Legos in bulk without reassembling sets. Half Price Bricks meticulously searches for pieces to recreate the original Lego set. A lot of time and effort and ingenuity went into the design of Lego sets, so it is quite a loss to have it only be built once and enjoyed by one child. HPB helps to make sure other kids can enjoy and appreciate the sets as they were designed. How to donate: You can donate just by emailing us at donate@halfpricebricks.com. We would be happy to schedule a pick up at a time and location convenient for you. If you would prefer to keep your storage bins/tubs/boxes, we can transfer them to our tubs, or drop off your empty tubs on your porch within a few days without bothering you. What to donate: We take genuine Legos in sets or loose bricks. However, we understand that sometimes they are mixed with off-brand bricks or other toys. No worries! We will take whatever you have and sort through them for you. We would also love any building instruction manuals you have because it gives us a clue of what original sets may be present, and we include them in the boxes once we reassemble all the pieces.
